Ag Industry Veteran Tapped
to Lead Growers Edge Commercial Sales Team
June 22, 2022 – Johnston, Iowa – Growers Edge, a provider of data-driven financial technology (fintech) solutions for the agricultural industry, announced today the promotion of Todd Robran to Vice President of Sales. He will lead Growers Edge Commercial Team and help drive sales for the company’s warranty-backed Crop Plans.
“Todd Robran’s proven track record in sales made him the perfect fit to lead our commercial sales team. With Todd leading the team, we expect to significantly expand the Growers Edge Crop Plan solutions and strengthen relationships with innovative ag retailers,” said Dan Cosgrove, CEO of Growers Edge.
In November 2020, Robran started as a Regional Sales Manager at Growers Edge and was responsible for building relationships with ag retailer partners, ag retailer leadership, agronomy teams and farmers. He was also responsible for the growth and implementation of the Growers Edge Crop Plan product.

Robran operates his family’s farmstead in Waseca, Minnesota, and has a variety of experiences in sales and leadership for companies like DuPont and Pratum. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from the University of Minnesota and his Master’s in Agronomy/Plant Pathology from the University of Illinois.
