
Johnston, Iowa – May 9, 2022 – Growers Edge, a provider of data-driven financial technology (fintech) solutions for the agricultural industry, announced the appointment of Ahraz Husain as Vice President of Data.

Husain graduated from Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi, India, with a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering. He received a Master’s in Computing and Information Systems from Youngstown State University in 2015. Throughout his educational career, Husain pursued multiple internships and projects in Analytics before graduating.
In January of 2016, Husain started his professional career at Corteva Agriscience in Johnston, Iowa, where he focused on Computational Agronomy with the company’s digital solutions platform. He transitioned to Corteva Research & Development in late 2016, leading initiatives in Geospatial Machine Learning capabilities to accelerate machine learning operations lifecycles for Corteva Environmental Informatics.
Husain moved to Corteva US Commercial Business in 2018 and led various corporate transition efforts across Data and Analytics, where he received multiple accolades for his work. Most recently, Husain led a team of Data Product Managers, Data Engineers and Analytics Engineers at Corteva.
