Nampa, Idaho and Johnston, Iowa– September 1, 2022 –– Valley Agronomics, LLC (Valley Ag) is pleased to announce its collaboration with Growers Edge, a provider of data-driven financial technology (fintech) solutions for the agricultural industry, to deliver a fully digital, in-house lending platform to their customers. The platform will be hosted on Valley Ag’s Grower Portal, an app-based customer service platform created and supported by AgVend, and will deliver fast, efficient and secure in-house financing options to Valley Ag’s customers.

Platinum Financing brings in-house financing to Valley Ag’s customers using Growers Edge technology and data analytics to power a custom-branded input financing program. The Platinum Financing offer features:
- Growers Edge’s Digital Application and Loan Management Platform is accessible via the Valley Ag Grower Portal. This platform will make it simple for farmers to apply for, manage and pay off their loans, making it easier to access credit and expand their operations.
- Growers Edge’s Underwriting Scorecard uses a proprietary blend of traditional lending analysis factors combined with credit and relevant risk factors and specialized short-term financing that provides a near-instant and accurate assessment of a grower’s financial strength so Valley Ag can be confident in the customer’s ability for repayment.
- Growers Edge Portfolio Management System will help Valley Ag efficiently manage their loan portfolio in real-time while keeping customer loan information safe and accessible.

Currently, in the portal, Valley Ag customers can pay their invoices, view statements, review purchase history, receive quotes, and browse products. The addition of Platinum Financing to the portal will give growers the option to apply for financing and manage their loan, in a familiar, easy-to-use format, 24.7. This collaboration with Growers Edge and AgVend is another step in an effort to enhance farmers’ digital experience with Valley Ag.
Valley Ag will roll out Platinum Financing to their customers starting October 2022.
