Kiersten Sinn brings more than a decade of ag lending experience to lead the next phase of growth for Growers Edge’s lending platform
Growers Edge, a financial technology company building modern lending and data solutions for agriculture, today announced that Kiersten Sinn has joined as Managing Director, Mortgage. Sinn will help lead the next phase of growth for its lending platform, with a mandate to bring greater speed, scale, and technology, including AI, to how Growers Edge delivers capital to farmers.
Sinn’s role
Sinn will lead the Farm Mortgage and Operating Financing program end to end. She’ll also help shape how technology and AI get applied across the broader lending organization, from application and underwriting to decisioning, closing, and servicing, so farmers get answers and capital on a timeline that matches how fast agriculture actually moves.
“Every farm has a story: the land, the history, the plans for what’s next, and understanding that story alongside the numbers is what lets us build financing that actually fits,” said Sinn. “At Growers Edge, our job is to find the right financial solution for every farmer, no matter what circumstance they’re in, using modern, data-driven tools that help them access capital and manage risk with real confidence.”
Sinn’s background
Sinn is a lending professional with more than 10 years of experience in agricultural and commercial finance. She spent nearly a decade at AgAmerica Lending, rising from Senior Credit Analyst to Credit Manager to Senior Director, FinTech Lending, where she led lending, credit, and lead conversion operations for the company’s fintech platform.
Earlier in her career, she held senior credit analyst roles at USNY Bank, Farm Credit of Central Florida, and Farm Credit East, ACA, building a foundation in commercial underwriting, risk analysis, and agricultural relationship management.
Sinn is a graduate of the LSU Graduate School of Banking (2023) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Information & Analysis from Clarkson University (2016).
The problem Growers Edge is built to solve
Agricultural lending has long relied on slow, manual, one-size-fits-all processes. That leaves too many farmers underserved: new growers who can’t get a foot in the door, opportunity buyers who lose deals to slow closings, and established operators whose circumstances don’t fit a conventional box.
Growers Edge’s ambition is to close that gap. The company pairs experienced underwriting talent with modern technology so it can meet farmers where they are, whatever their situation, on a platform built to compete on speed and sophistication with anyone in the industry. Sinn’s hire is a direct investment in that ambition, and the next chapter of that story starts now.
